Who We Are
A group of approximately 35 volunteer men and women, residents of Hopatcong from all walks of life, who share a common goal: to help our neighbours. We are highly trained professionals, certified in CPR and Defibrillation. Most of our members are certified EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians), and have invested well over 120 hours of classroom instruction as well as having served hospital internship as a part of our training. We perticipate in a highly structured program of continuing education to maintain our skills and knowledge, and we are required to be re-certified every three years. We do this as volunteers, without tangible compensation.
